Because of our unique situation, this is the most general from to follow. We need to sculpt and develop it for our individual needs over the next few weeks.
Defining What Wealth Is
Each of us has to figure out what wealth is for ourselves. Some of the wealthiest people in the world aren’t millionaires. Many don’t live the typical American Dream. They knew who they are, what they want, and live on their terms, not terms placed on them. Too many of us fall into the typical trap. We follow what everyone expects or wants us to do. Instead, we must focus on what allows us to our life to its fullest potential.
When we define what wealth is, we need to have some idea of who we are and what our passions are. In the end, wealth is what makes us happy, alive, secure, and leaves a positive mark. It’s okay to dream. Let yourself be free to dream and don’t worry about what others think of your dream. It will help us identify how we should spend, save, and invest our money.
Wealth can come in many forms. Some of us may view wealth as seeing the world and experiencing different cultures. Others may feel that wealth is owning a Maserati or a Cadillac and living in an upscale neighborhood. Another person may see wealth as lifting the poor out of poverty. It is unique to each individual. The common thread that connects these dreams is how it is deeply rooted in who we are and our passions. The deep roots provide the energy and resiliency needed to achieve our dreams.
Prioritizing
We can afford anything we that is important to us. It’s time to prioritize our goals so we can focus our energy. Approaching a priority with overwhelming force increases the chance of accomplishing our goal quickly.
Juggling many things at once is a difficult task. You will probably drop everything you’re juggling by adding one too many goals. Focus on one or two goals and approach it with
Thinking and Planning Ahead
One thing for certain will be roadblocks. Every decision we make affects what will happen two or more steps down the line. By thinking and planning ahead, we are able to identify roadblocks, solutions, and opportunities. It’s been said that luck is where opportunity and preparation meet. The trip will be more enjoyable and run smoothly.
It took many generations to build Rome. It took years for individuals like Pablo Picasso and Leonardo DiVinci to become great artists. Breaking things down into small achievable steps during the planning process will help us realize our dreams.
The planning process never ends. it’s a continuing effort as we make our way towards our dream. New roadblocks and resistance will appear along the way. We must adjust and continue forward.
The plan does not have to be perfect. It is effective as long as it gives you an idea of how your dream will be built and it is executed. Next week, we will be going over wealth’s building stage.
