The mixtape. It’s the soundtrack of our lives, a mess of thoughts and emotions distilled in song. Sometimes it’s just shit that you remember. Other times it’s junk you need to let go. It’s more than a playlist of what we listening to. The mix tape is a carefully crafted playlist that reveals a lot about who we are, how we are feeling, and what is happening to us. I’ve been making mixtapes since before era of mp3s. Every so often, I’ll be dropping an old playlist every so often for y’all to enjoy!
