It’s been silent on my webpage lately. I’ve been working extra hours at work and trying to learn to ice skate as one way of cross training. This week, I need to focus on having a good start this semester.
Education
- Buy books for all my classes. I want to have all my books ready by Wednesday, the first day of classes.
- Devote 10 hours of study this week. Each week, I am increasing my study time slowly until it reaches 30 hours a week.
Finances
- Close all my accounts at Bank of America. I’ve been paying my credit card on time at Bank of America and they still raised my interest rate on my credit card to 25%. A few months ago, they shorted me money in checks I deposited and they refused to do research on it unless I had the evidence to move it forward. Did I mention all the fees they started charging me when they bought my bank?
- Apply for Student Financial Aid. I received my financial aid package from Harper. Now, it’s time for me to get the student loans.
Health
- Cross Train. Cross training will help me build a better body.
- Reduce Evening Dining. One of the culprits in my life is eating a lot of food in the evening. I start the day off well with breakfast and continue it through lunch. I falter when I come home from work or school.
Accomplishments
- Picked Up Extra Shifts. I’m super grateful that my employer has been giving me extra shifts. I know that they’ll be reducing my hours again in February. After that, I can focus on school and other personal projects. The big Debbie Downer is losing income for the next three months.
- Cleaned My Room, Kinda. My father still has not moved the desk out of my room and my stuff has started to form a pile in a corner of my room. I hope to clear this new mess up by the end of the week.
- Started Cross-Training. I didn’t run the twenty miles but I did start cross training by mall walking and ice skating. It’s so much better on my knees. I need to protect my assets right?
